Ingredients

Forever Beard Essential Spray Ingredients:

Cosmetic Grade Ethanol:  The ingredient ethanol is commonly listed on products as denatured alcohol. Denatured alcohol or ethanol means that it has been treated with a denaturant that makes the formulation undrinkable.

Ethanol is a natural product that can be used by manufacturers of organic products, which are increasingly in demand with today’s consumers. This is one reason why leading cosmetics brands and manufacturers tend to avoid the use of synthetic alcohol.

Ethanol helps clean the skin thoroughly and kills any microorganisms that may be lurking on the surface like fungi, bacteria, and viruses. Cosmetic-grade ethanol also keeps ingredients together in a formulation and prevents them from separating. The chemical formula of alcohol is C2H5OH and it has a pungent taste with a wine-like odor.

Water:  Always a key ingredient listed.  It makes up the most significant percentage of the formula.

PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil:  A popular surfactant used in care products and so-called colored cosmetics. It acts as a solubilizer, emulsifier, and emollient. The use of products containing PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil provides a feeling of softness to the skin thanks to nourishment and minimizing moisture loss.

PEG-7 Glyceryl Monococoate:  Often used in skincare and haircare products for its ability to act as a gentle cleansing agent, emulsifier, and conditioner. It can help in removing dirt and impurities from the skin or hair, while also providing a smooth and soft texture

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride:  Plant oils and butters are nutrient-rich and incredibly beneficial but they can be temperamental in higher concentrations and weigh down hair and skin. Incorporating caprylic/capric triglyceride into products increases stability, improves texture and reduces greasiness.

Cocos Nucifera(Coconut) Oil:   Moisturize the hair follicles on your beard, helping to keep them moisturized so they look fuller, shinier, and silkier than before. Enjoy a fuller-looking beard: The lauric acid properties found in refined coconut oil can play a big role in helping to stimulate beard growth.

Pinus Succinifera (Amber) Oil:  This oil also benefits the skin by reducing irritation and providing moisture, without blocking pores. The natural scent of the oils combine to leave the beard scented with a citrus fresh fragrance

Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil:  Moringa Oleifera also has benefits for the beard due to its softening, nourishing, and strengthening effect. It softens and conditions facial hair while controlling stray hairs. On long beards, it helps to prevent split ends.

Water & Panax Ginseng Root Extract:  Panax ginseng is an herb used in products for health purposes on the scalp and in the hair. It has health effects in the anagen phase where new hair forms and in the catagen phase, where the growth of the follics delays.

Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea)leaf Extract:  Moisturizes and strengthens the skin under the beard, and conditions and protects the hair from UV rays. The blend of oils in our Green Tea beard conditioner gives the hair shine and elasticity.

Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract:  Cucumber Oil contains about 14-20% oleic acid and 60-68% linoleic acid, making it a deep moisturizer and hydrator. That significant percentage of oleic acid and linoleic acid is effective at soothing dry, damaged skin and hair, nourishing it, and adding softness and luster.

Calendula Officinalis (Calendula) Flower Extract:  Hydrates the facial skin under hair and improves the condition of the skin. With regenerative properties, it helps the facial hair follicles grow abundantly allowing for a thicker fuller beard. It also has antioxidants that help protect the facial hair and facial skin against cell damage.

Grape Seed Extract: Provides moisture but is also a natural cleansing agent that helps to remove excess sebaceous oils that can sometimes clog your pores and slow the rate at which your beard grows.

Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil:  Jojoba oil for beards is the best because in addition to softening and conditioning facial hair, it is also highly nourishing for the skin, especially facial skin

Biotin:  May help improve the quality, texture, and strength of existing beard hair, preventing breakage and making the beard appear fuller and healthier

Tocopheryl Acetate:  A form of Vitamin E and is a natural skin conditioning agent, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory derived from plants. It helps to fight free radicals, reduces lipid peroxidation and oxidative stress to the scalp, and protects the skin and hair from damage due to sun exposure

Niacinamide:  Niacinamide is a water-soluble vitamin that can assist in healthy hair growth. Its antioxidant properties can improve blood circulation, and bring oxygen to the hair follicles, resulting in good hair growth. It helps keep the hair lustrous by maintaining sheen and strength

Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil:  Hemp oil penetrates the skin better than most essential oils and improves blood circulation. It reduces dryness and hence itchiness – one of the biggest banes while growing a beard. Hemp oil is known to prevent moisture loss in the skin and help prevent premature aging and is effective in maintaining moisture balance.

Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil:  Tea tree has antifungal and antibacterial characteristics that help keep your beard clean and healthy the hair strands in your beard. It combats a variety of skin issues and aids in the growth of beard hair.
